Let the Child Grow

I mentioned before on my earlier post, that what I love about children is their innocence. A child's innocence is precious that is why it must be protected. Presently in Nigeria, a bill supporting marrying off young girls has been passed and seriously troubles my heart, as how such a bill can be passed in a room filled with leaders of the nation, where influential, educated, and rational thinkers are supposed to be present. Mothers were present when this bill was passed and yet none could speak up? What a shame. This is where the office of our first lady becomes relevant and yet she sits silent on this issue. What happened to our sense of decency? Our sense of reasoning maybe, what is normal about passing a bill that supports a female child to be giving away in marriage at an age where she barely knows how to take care of herself. Why are we going backwards, when the rest of the world is moving forward? She is not an adult, so let her grow. How is it not possible to consider the health hazards while passing this bill? It is said that 12,000 women develop VVF every year in Nigeria. The failure of governance is worsening that problem. Instead of us to look for how to protect the kids, we want to pass a law that will kill them psychologically, morally, mentally, spiritually, and otherwise. We need to fight for our kids, since the lawmakers have decided in ruining a nation, by destroying the child which is supposed to be that nation’s future. How do we move from here? Who will fight for our future, when it’s at the verge of being curbed today…

 

Purity Elixir

I represent one who serves humanity in its purest form, I have a longing to show and prove that umadulteration is the best form of service and living. Some of you may wonder what this blogs aims to achieve, like really, what is purity elixir! It's not a school subject so I'll rather not go ahead to play teacher. Together we will embark on this journey to finding why we live in a world where the purest form is what we run from and run towards that which will hurt us, a journey where we try to appreciate the good rather than promote the bad. Purity elixir represents all and everything that promotes positive change, boast self esteem and make people understand the value of the natures purest" . It'll be a voice of different people from different nation who wants to make an impact and send a positive message across. It's time to imitate the good, not the bad. You know what is so stricking about kids, the fact that they cannot help but be themselves, the innocence they exhibit while doing that with no apologise for their personalities. People are scared to be different. Don't fret, purity elixir isn't some boring blog that preaches how to be original and different alone lol, it presents originality and purity in a way that should be envied and encouraging to imitate... It's my first time blogging I'm sure some of you might have noticed by now, so I'm a whack writer but not to worry I'm not here to fascinate you with my writing neither I'm I here to show you how whack I am :d as I said I said earlier it's a journey for all of us to learn and appreciate ourselves, and strive to be better and original.............I'm purity, Afrique' purest is what I aim to showcase..........
